The booking process begins with your booking request. Once you have submitted your booking
request, it will be reserved for one week. A deposit of 50% of your total
booking fee has to be transferred to our bank account. With the deposit the booking
is considered confirmed and you will receive the booking confirmation email.
The remaining amount including all costs incurred during the stay will be
requested on the day of departure. franz&mathilde OHG reserves the right to cancel the booking if the full deposit is not received on time.

Prices

When you make a booking, the price of your stay cannot normally change. However, franz&mathilde OHG reserves the right to increase or decrease prices. There is a minimum stay of at least 14 nights. The prices vary in the summer season (April – October) and in the winter season (November – March). From 28 days there is a price reduction of 10%.
All prices are per person and night including breakfast and excluding local tax fee.
It includes accommodation, breakfast, bed linen, heating, water, gas and electricity, room cleaning and all fees and taxes, with the exception of laundry service and meals on site. The amount of the local tax is calculated on the basis of the municipal ordinance applicable at the time of the stay in the municipality. Additional costs that arise during the stay will be charged separately on the day of departure.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellation conditions according to Art. 1382 ZGB
There is no right of withdrawal within the meaning of the Italian consumer protection code. Nevertheless, we grant you the right to withdraw from the following cancellation conditions within the meaning of Art. 1382 ZGB:
If you need to cancel your booking, let us know as soon as possible. We have different cancellation policies for refunds depending on when you cancel your booking:

If you cancel your booking more than 60 days before the arrival date, 100% of your deposit will be refunded.
If you cancel your booking more than 30 days before the arrival date, 50% of your deposit will be refunded.
If you cancel less than 30 days before the arrival date, the Deposit will be not refundable.
If you arrive at the premises and choose to leave earlier than planned, full payment will be required.
In special cases of COVID-19 we offer you a more flexible cancellation policy until further notice, but we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance:
If you cannot travel to Italy due to travel restrictions, you will receive a voucher for franz&mathilde with the amount corresponding to your stay. With this voucher you can book your stay at franz&mathilde within 18 months from the date of issue.
In the following case, the normal cancellation conditions apply:
You don’t want to come because you are afraid of falling ill.
You have become ill and cannot travel (travel cancellation insurance should cover these costs)

Booking Changes

The dates of your booking can be changed 30 days before arrival date.
If you are leaving before the day of departure or arriving after the arrival date, no refund will be given.

Travel Cancellation Insurance

We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance when you book your stay. This means that the cancellation fees can be covered and you can look forward to your vacation without any worries.‘

Parking Spots

Limited space is available in our car park and space may not be available for the duration of your stay. General terms and conditions can also apply to the use of parking spaces. Please contact us directly for more information. Cars and their contents are at the owner / customer’s own risk. We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in rooms or public areas.

Data Protection

In accordance with GvD No. 196/2003, we would like to inform you that your data will only be used and saved to process your application and will not be communicated or disseminated to third parties. Liability

franz&mathilde OGH assumes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to people or objects during their stay. We reserve the right to charge you for any damage caused to your room or building during your stay (including but not limited to specialist cleaning), or for items missing on your departure.
At certain times, premises may become unavailable due to maintenance, adverse weather conditions or other reasons beyond our control. We will try to keep all guests informed of these circumstances, but this may not always be possible.
The Company will not be liable or pay any compensation if the performance of its obligations is prevented or impaired, directly or indirectly, by or as a result of force majeure or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to earthquakes, extremely adverse weather conditions Natural disasters, acts of terrorism, fire or power failure, interruption or malfunction of the internet connection, gas, water or other utilities, machines, computers, vehicles or the collapse of building structures.
Nothing in the contract or any other document referred to or contained therein excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or the company’s liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
